Message: I am so happy to know that you're a christian and am glad to have visited your website would love to read your books someday when I cant afford it. But for now; Pls pray for me beloved Christian Sister,

I have out of a job since last 2 years. I am looking for an office hour job that does not rob time from worshipping God and to have the weekends spend with my hubby Josiah for church activities. Moreover, I am suffering from lower back pain and going continuous weekly for therapy sessions to improve my back posture. I am delaying having our first child also due to this reason. It’s very frustrating when you touch your savings and spend it all on the doctor's fees. My optician just informed me my astic on both eyes are very high. Need to change my glasses soon. I don't think I can hold on anymore. I seem to day but day struggle to see my hubby go through so much to pay house bills and other impt bills and I can’t seem to help him in anyway. I am very devastated and terribly de-motivated. Please pray for us both. I do not wish to say this but I am starting to lose faith in God's promises due to the jeering and teasing of my friends and relatives who talk behind my back that our God Lord Jesus does not love us and do not wish to deliver us from all these miseries. Well Singapore is going through a hard time too. Lots are out of jobs and some are struggling to live by the day like us. PLS PRAY FOR US. I BEG OF YOU BELOVED BRO & SIS IN CHRIST!

In Him We Trust,

Jennifer

Ps: May I jusr request a Christmas card from you - it would mean alot to me and Josiah.

Message: Hi Anne

(Wasn't sure if you would get the reply to sender email I sent from the FCFW, so I'm coying your website

Last June I suspended my ACFW large loop emails because with the large Crypt group, it was too overwhelming. I didn’t find your email to join a small crit group until yesterday (I’ve not been monitoring that file). Since your email was dated July 13th, I’m not sure when it came in or why it got through at all!

Anyway, I am interested if there is still an opening. I’ve traded crits with Diana Sharples before. She is very good and I’ve love to work with her again. I’m not familiar with the others, but I like your work. I’m still a member of the FCW crit group, which has a couple of published writers, but only one is really active right now. I finished my WIP this summer, am reading through “Plot & Structure by James Scott Bell and starting the revision process, so the timing could be good for me.

Let me know if you still have room and are still interested.

PS Nice website, I appreciate the accessibility to screen readers.

Here is a brief bio on my writing journey

About three years ago, I decided to start writing fiction for publication. I’ve read six or seven books on writing, attended a writer’s convention, and had/have several subscriptions to Writer’s Magazines. However, I’ve learned the most through another small critique group where I want to remain active. However right now, I’d like to broaden the number of my critique partners and obtain some other perspectives, and challenges for my WIP. I’m a hard worker, compulsive helper, and I think encourager with fairly thick skin.
My current genre is middle-school (age 9-14) YA primarily for boys. I’ve had six short stories published in four Christian periodicals: PARTNERS, CADET QUEST, YOUTH COMPASS and THE GEM. POCKETS has also accepted a short story and is holding it for future publication. “Dark Forest” (a YA novella) is my current WIP and I just finished the first draft.
I have also researched, outlined and begun a historical fiction novel (set in the 1750’s). However, I won’t develop that piece further until I revise and ready the novella for publication, and begin a sequel.
After graduating from Bethel Seminary in 2005, I volunteer for several teaching and ministry roles in the local church. I’ve always had a passion for reading and writing and over the years I’ve written several family histories and anecdotes. I am also committed to several non-fiction pieces in connection with my ministry in the local church.
I've always loved reading, CS Lewis, and J.R.R. Tolkien and yes Louis L’Amour are among my favorites. However right now, I’ve been listening to several contemporary YA works by Robert Liparulo, Erin Hunter and others. I'm also a history buff, especially American Pioneer/Church history and the Revolutionary War period.

My lovely wife Linda and I have been married for 31 years, have six children ages 28 to 15 and three new grandchildren. Lots of fun! Two of them are 5 minutes away. We live in the Twin Cities Metro. And oh yeah, we did/do the home school thing.
I’m looking forward to working with this group.
