Welcome to my world! Okay men, sit back and suck it in. My books are about women who are real heroes - women you could fall in love with. My FLY GIRLS series brings to life women of independent thought and action who volunteered to fly during World War II. I write of them because in times of crisis the women of America are there, serving, loving, and dying. My husband’s career in the military and his year’s service in Iraq gives me a special link to these women. When the world shook with war, women took over man-sized jobs and performed well. So guys, tuck your egos away, kick back, grab a drink and some chips and enjoy reading. ANGELS WITH STEEL WINGS combines Steel Magnolias with Band of Brothers and changes the world for women forever. There’s no going back. FLY WITH THE WIND AND STARS continues the fight. Sabotage, shortages, and culture clash, somewhat like Dog Patch meets the US Army Air Force, fill the pages. What’s a girl to do? These gutsy ladies led the way to today’s all female crews flying fighter missions over enemy territory and the KC-135 Stratotanker Air Refueling crew as well as our women in space.
